It looks like I got on LJ just in time my only two LJ friends (who were also local) are on their ways (going separate directions) out of the country :-(. I am happy for them but sad for me it is going to get a lot more lonely around here. At least, now that I have LJ it will be easy to at least keep up to date on their travel logs.

I wish I could go overseas but I am set to graduate this June from OSU (Bioengineering and biochemistry/biophysics) and was hoping to add a third degree next year (chemistry). I also have some (lots) of bills I've got to pay before I can travel. It is amazing how deep in the hole the educational system can put you.

Maybe I can find a nice job overseas for a year or two and get some exchange time in that way but I would have to make enough to pay living expenses overseas and a mortgage back here Oregon. Anyway back to reality I'll miss Lurkitty and Altrus a lot and I wish them both the best of times.
